A delegation from Somalia visited Bandarban University

A delegation from Somalia, including Dr. Amin, Member of the University Grants Commission of Somalia and Dean of the University of Somalia, along with Dr. Abdi Nasir and Dr. Biplob Hossain, visited Bandarban University to explore opportunities for academic collaboration and partnership between institutions in Bangladesh and Somalia.



The delegation was welcomed by MD Tahidul Islam Masum, Coordinator, International Affairs, Bandarban University.

পার্বত্য চট্টগ্রাম বিষয়ক মন্ত্রণালয়ের মাননীয় মন্ত্রী ও বান্দরবানের রাজপুত্র জনাব সাচিং প্রু জেরি এমপি মন্ত্রী হিসেবে দায়িত্ব গ্রহণের পর প্রথমবারের মতো বান্দরবানে আগমন উপলক্ষে তাঁকে ফুলেল শুভেচ্ছা ও উষ্ণ অভ্যর্থনা জানিয়েছে বান্দরবান বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় পরিবার।



০১ সেপ্টেম্বর ২০২৬ ( মঙ্গলবার) বান্দরবান বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের প্রবেশমুখে বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় পরিবারের পক্ষ থেকে মাননীয় মন্ত্রীকে ফুলের তোড়া দিয়ে স্বাগত জানান বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের মাননীয় উপাচার্য প্রফেসর ড. মোহাম্মদ মুহিবউল্যাহ ছিদ্দিকী।



এ সময় উপস্থিত ছিলেন বান্দরবান বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের ট্রাস্ট সদস্য ও ফিন্যান্স কমিটির চেয়ারম্যান জনাব মোহাম্মদ ইসলাম, বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের রেজিস্ট্রার প্রফেসর মো. জসীম উদ্দীন খানসহ বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের শিক্ষক, কর্মকর্তা ও কর্মচারীবৃন্দ।



মন্ত্রী হিসেবে দায়িত্ব গ্রহণের পর প্রথমবারের মতো বান্দরবানে আগমন উপলক্ষে বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় পরিবারের পক্ষ থেকে তাঁকে আন্তরিক শুভেচ্ছা ও অভিনন্দন জানানো হয়। একই সঙ্গে পার্বত্য চট্টগ্রামের শিক্ষা ও উচ্চশিক্ষার প্রসার, তরুণ প্রজন্মের দক্ষতা উন্নয়ন এবং এ অঞ্চলের সার্বিক অগ্রযাত্রায় তাঁর সফলতা কামনা করা হয়।



বান্দরবান বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় পরিবার আশা প্রকাশ করে, মাননীয় মন্ত্রী সাচিং প্রু জেরি এমপির নেতৃত্ব ও দিকনির্দেশনায় পার্বত্য চট্টগ্রামের শিক্ষা ও উন্নয়নের ক্ষেত্রে নতুন সম্ভাবনার দ্বার উন্মোচিত হবে এবং এ অঞ্চলে উচ্চশিক্ষার প্রসার ও অগ্রযাত্রা আরও বেগবান হবে।
